Marketing and Communication Coordinator

It is recommended that clubs appoint a Marketing and Communications Coordinator contribute to and assist in the development and implementation of a communication and marketing plan.

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will be responsible for the following areas:

Marketing Collateral – development, production and maintenance of accurate and timely marketing resources and promotional materials, including copy writing, proofing, editing and design for posters, information sheets, e-newsletters, web banners, flyers as well as the design and implementation of marketing campaigns.

Web Site/Social Media platforms – sourcing and developing content for the club website and social media activity and ensuring the site/social media platforms remain current.

Branding –ensure all activities and materials compliment club branding and marketing efforts.

Functions/Events – Coordinate with the event volunteers to facilitate key events and functions as required.

Photo Resource Library – Maintain a timely and accurate resource of photos and imagery of club activities for both print and digital applications. Attend key special events for this purpose and to provide timely reports/updates to web/social media platforms across duration of these events.

Media Releases – Draft media releases as requested by the committee for distribution to key media within targeted locations. Maintain accurate media database across all club areas for this purpose.
