Operational PlanAn operational plan is a highly detailed outline of what the club will focus on for the short-term (within 12 months). The key objectives in the operational plan need to work towards achieving the strategic goals (identified in the strategic plan) of the club. The operational plan will answer questions - who, what, when, and how much and will guide the committee and volunteers in their work. Set some time aside during the off-season to establish the operations plan ahead of the new season, inviting the key roles in the club to be part of the process. Remember to use SMART goal setting model to inform the operational objectives.
