ATHLETE BIO

Raised in Sydney, Amy Ridge is part of a large contingent of youthful players in the Aussie Stingers squad.

Ridge completed one season in the American College system for the University of Michigan in 2016 where they finished 4th at the NCAA Finals, the highest placing ever in the school’s history.

Her involvement in Australian junior teams and talent programs meant it was a natural progression for Ridge into the senior team when she debuted in 2017 at the FINA World League Intercontinental Tournament in Sacramento, where the Stingers won gold.

Ridge made her Olympic debut at the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2021.
