Aussie Stingers prepare to take on former Olympic Champions

Game two for the Aussie Stingers will see them take on former Olympic champions the Netherlands, who return to the Olympic Games for the first time since they clinched gold in 2008 Beijing.

The Aussie Stingers come into the match after a solid 8-5 win over Canada, while the Netherlands had a bye on the first day of competition so will be out to make their mark.

Triple Olympian and Captain of the Aussie Stingers, Rowie Webster, said the Netherlands will be a bit of an x-factor with a new look Olympic team.

“They’ve got an incredible raft of shooters, and in my opinion they have one of the best shooters in the world.
