Gabi Palm's Guide to Brisbane

Published Thu 21 Dec 2023

Growing up in Queensland's capital, Olympian Gabi Palm knows a thing or two about what to do in Brisbane.

As the countdown to the 2024 Australian Youth Water Polo Championships heats up, Gabi has you covered with her ‘Top tips for Brisbane,’ check it out!

1. Grab a donut and coffee at Nodo. The coffee and breakfast options are to die for, and there are a few locations across Brisbane.

2. Spend the afternoon watching the sunset at Howard Smith Wharves. Enjoy the outlook over Brisbane, right below Kangaroo Point Cliffs.

3. Go for a walk at Mt Coot-tha! The Summit Trail is great because you get to see the view of Brisbane. GABI'S HOT TIP: During summer go early, because it can be very hot later in the day

4. Visit the Eat Street Markets in Hamilton...a weekend activity that has a variety of food trucks and live music.

5. Have lunch or dinner at Beccofino in Teneriffe...one of the best Italian restaurants in Brisbane. GABI'S HOT TIP: the duck ragu
