ATHLETE BIO

John Hedges started playing water polo with his sister, in the Flippaball program at the infamous Bicton Pool in Fremantle. Since transitioning into the national team, Hedges has made the move to the east coast, where he currently plays with the UNSW Wests Magpies in the Australian Waterpolo League.

Hedges made his Aussie Sharks debut at the 2022 FINA World League Intercontinental Cup in Peru, where they won silver.
