Water Polo Australia has a strong pathways programs in place designed to support athletes progressing through the competition pathway.
Before making a senior men’s or women’s representative team, athletes have the opportunity to represent Australia through the various representative opportunities available with underage teams including 16&U, 18&U and 20&U.
The purpose of the National Age Group Program is to identify, support and develop athletes in preparation for the relevant international age group events but also to best prepare them to compete for selection in future National senior teams.
