Ruby Swadling started playing water polo after sitting on the sidelines and watching her brother and sister.
In her final year of high school, Ruby made her debut for the senior national team, the Aussie Stingers.
Ruby has spent the last couple of years abroad, sturying and playing water polo at the University of California, Berkeley.
She is also currently training as part of the Aussie Stingers squad, with the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in her sights.
