Published Mon 21 May 2018

The Aussie Stingers have announced their final squad ahead of the FINA World League Super Finals in China, beginning on May 28.

Australia have been placed in Group A alongside Spain, China and Netherlands. While USA, Canada, Japan and Russia make up Group B.

The Aussie Stingers first opponents will be Netherlands followed by China then Spain, with elimination finals starting May 31 and final placings determined on June 2.

In last year’s World League Super Finals, Australia beat Japan 10-8 in the playoff for seventh place and will be looking to develop the structures they’ve been adjusting to over the last few months.

Currently, the Aussie Stingers are in a training camp against China and Japan before competition begins.

The following players have been selected in the team to attend the World League Super Finals in China.
