EOI open for Athletes Commission

Due to the appointment of Thomas Whalan as Water Polo Australia (WPA) President, Thomas has decided to step down from his position with WPA’s Athlete Commission.

Thomas’ departure has created a vacancy for a commissioner on WPA’s Athlete Commission, WPA would like to call for expressions of interest.

Water Polo Australia’s Personal Excellence Consultant Troy Baverstock is aware of the opportunity which presents itself to senior athletes.

“It is a good opportunity for one of our senior athletes to represent and be an advocate for WPA’s total athlete cohort.

The athlete commission can help the wider water polo community understand what challenges our athletes have to come to terms with as they navigate their way through the high performance pathway,” he said.
